October 10 Session 1: Lingrohub basics: Instructor Resources and Support

New to Lingrohub? Need a quick refresher on the new design? Learn about how to get the most out of the LingroHub platform. Topics include navigation, Instructor tools, student accommodations, Instructor Resources and Help/Support.

October 17 Session 2: Activity settings, assignments and due dates

This session will dive into everything you ever wanted to know about activity settings: defaults, batch settings, set and change due dates, change number of attempts, open and close dates, locking and unlocking content. Great for those who want to manage their own courses.

October 24 Session 3: Projects and feedback

Join us as we explore the different options for projects available in your titles. We will provide guidance on making the most out of the grading experience and ideas for handling outside resources. We will also walk users through the student experience of submitting projects.

October 31 Session 4: Grading Center for instructor-graded assignments

This session will help users maximize the power of the new Grading tool to grade instructor-graded assignments: types of grading, adjusting scores, giving max points and giving feedback.

November 7 Session 5: Exam creation

Did you know that you can choose an already made exam but you can also build your own by choosing activities from the test bank? Join us as we explore these assessments, and learn how to create and edit them. 

November 14 Session 6: Late work

Join us as we dive into the new Late Work Manager and demonstrate all the options available for instructors. We will highlight the filter and search options and the process to make accepting late work smooth and quick. We will discuss late work policy options, along with how they are implemented at different institutions.

November 21 Session 7: Gradebook and end of semester essentials

As we approach the end of the semester, in this last session of the Coffee break series we will go over the essentials to ensure a smooth end of semester. The topics will include the gradebook and its different views and columns, totals and averages, adjusting scores and managing overrides, downloading the gradebook, among other needs such as managing late work, grading last minute items, and exploring reports on student data.
