Our Story
In 2016, five former colleagues got together for a reunion dinner. They shared stories, caught up on their respective lives, and started discussing what they each were planning to do next. Midway through the dinner, one of the colleagues suggested something bold. What if they re-joined forces – with their decades of experiences in language learning – to start a new company.
After a few minutes, the conversation quickly turned to planning. The former colleagues got excited about launching a different kind of language learning company. One that would focus on developing content based on the latest research and delivering content in unexpected ways.
Within a year, LingroLearning was founded. In a relatively short time, the company has grown to more than 15 full-time employees across 17 states and 2 countries. Today, LingroLearning products are used on more than 150 college campuses (and growing!). We’re proud of what we’ve built and excited to keep working with instructors to improve learning outcomes for students.
We’re also proud of the kind of company we’ve built. One that is transparent about the values that drive our decisions big and small.
